Thinking ahead to the Holiday season (which is less then 10 weeks away) how about adding some color without using the traditional red and green we associate with the Christmas season? Although in the picture below, this green and red garland doesn't have too much of a traditional feel to it. The lighter green color makes it seem very colorful and non-traditional, but maybe it could be all the feathers. It serves as a huge focal point above the fireplace. I think it looks so fun and whimsical.

The room below is very elegant with all the white and gold, I love the pink and green touches |

Here, the blue and silver fruit tree sets the stage for the color scheme set on the table |

This room has a completely different feel, no red and green combination here but pink and lots of it!

A little softer on the pink - the colors seem to blend right in with the pillows

Lots of blues, greens and browns,

It's interesting to see things in a different way then what is normally expected. Although I do find these twists on holiday color interesting, I think that I am kind of old-fashioned, and prefer red and green.

These colors are so beautiful! I love the blues and greens together.
And what's up with Christmas being less than 10 weeks away? Yikes!! I so would love this to be the year that I'm prepared...we'll see.
